Relaxing, enjoyable hidden gem
The was by far one of the best places we have stayed so far. The location is perfect for a nice quiet getaway. The room we had was ideal for what we wanted, with a great view, and really comfortable bed. The living room with the log burner was so relaxing, The food was amazing for breakfast, all locally sourced and nicely cooked/made. Catherine was a great host, so friendly and welcoming. The whole atmosphere of the place combined with the area, the hospitality and whole relaxing experience was definitely value for money. Will be absolutely going there again.
April 2026Lovely place to stay.
A lovely place to stay, clean, comfortable and quiet. Super breakfast with lots of choices. We used it as a base to travel round the area, ideal for Ludlow and further afield knowing we were coming back to a great nights sleep. An evening meal can be booked in advance cooked by Catherine if you don’t fancy venturing out to eat.
Would thoroughly recommend it!

Sets the Standard for Bed & Breakfast
We have just returned from a fabulous two night stay with our two daughters at Broome Park Farm. Catherine is very friendly and welcoming and we were greeted with tea and a lovely selection of cakes. Much appreciated by all after a long, wet drive from Cornwall. Then Catherine took us out to see the animals and allow our daughters to feed the lambs, piglets and chickens. This was a real highlight for them and they really loved doing it.
Our family room was perfect, so well equipped with a view over the gorgeous countryside, very peaceful and rural. Yet only a mile away from Cleobury Mortimer. There were homemade cookies, tea, coffee and hot chocolate and milk in the mini fridge. We ordered the Deli Platter on our first evening and it was fabulous, a great selection of food which we all polished off. This was followed by a superb breakfast the following morning, with a choice of cereals, cooked breakfast, toast and jams, yogurt and homemade apple juice. The second morning we all had the breakfast special of blueberry pancakes with maple syrup, so so good!
There is so much to do in the local area - we spent a great day in Ludlow, exploring the town. On our final day we visited Hanbury Hall, a National Trust property about 20 miles away. Well worth a visit as there was plenty to see and do. Charging our car at the farm was also very straightforward.
We will definitely return as Catherine has set the standard for bed and breakfast. We came away feeling refreshed after such a lovely stay in a gorgeous part of the country.
